Reflection of the Year
In general, I have done very well in Spanish three this year, and I feel like I have learned a lot. Learning Spanish fully online is definitely much harder than learning Spanish in person. I do wish that we could have had Spanish three class in person, but I learned a lot of Spanish either way. The biggest lesson that I learned this year was that the amount of spanish you learn depends on the effort that you put in. I made sure to put a lot of effort into my Spanish assignments, and do all of the work and I think that helped me to learn more than if I had just done the assignments enough to pass the class. I put in a lot of effort because I really want to learn to speak Spanish. The biggest challenge that I had this year was conjugating irregular verbs. In the beginning, it did not make any sense to me how to conjugate the irregular verbs. But then I realized that all I had to do was memorize the conjugations because each one is different because they are irregular. My biggest success was being able to read the whole book El Ekeko. I was very happy that I was able to read a whole book in Spanish and understand what was going on. My personal short term goal regarding Spanish is to take a spanish class in college next year, and my long term spanish goal is to eventually become fluent in spanish so that I can travel to spanish speaking countries and communicate with people.
